Who should attend?

This course is aimed at both professionals and amateurs interested in spirits and liqueurs.

During this course, you will learn how to taste spirits (which is not the same thing as tasting wine…) and understand the principles of distillation and the effects of maturation.

What is on offer?

By the end of the course, you will be able to understand

  • the influence of production methods on the characteristics of spirits and liqueurs
  • characteristics of the main spirits and liqueurs in the world
  • Evaluation of a spirit

The cantons with which we currently have an agreement are:

  • Geneva – it is possible to apply for a “grant or loan” from the Canton
  • Jura
  • Neuchâtel
  • Valais – ritzy formation continue

For managers and employees of a restaurant, bar, hotel or nightclub (subject to the CCNT or L-GAV) in a Canton that does not offer a subsidy for continuing education, we offer a 10% discount on the price of the course at our main premises and also in the Canton of Ticino.
